01Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ai-de.net (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and DIMENSIONS PARTNERSHIP CONSULTING LLC ("ai-de", "we", "our", or "us"), the entity that operates ai-de.net.

02Your account

To use most of the Platform you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password and 2FA factors
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access (aidelearning@proton.me)
• Not share account credentials, transfer your account, or maintain more than one personal account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. If you're using ai-de.net on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

03Use license

Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial educational use.

You MAY

• Use lesson content and project briefs to learn data engineering
• Copy code snippets into your own projects (with attribution if redistributed)
• Share your public portfolio link (e.g. aide.net/yourhandle)
• Reference what you learned on your résumé and in interviews

You MAY NOT

• Copy, modify, or redistribute lesson content, project briefs, or solution code outside of your personal portfolio
• Use the Platform's content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model
• Resell access, share account credentials, or maintain a "syndication" of accounts
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what's intentionally public
• Use automated tools to scrape Platform content beyond what robots.txt permits
• Remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

04Content & conduct

When you post content — code submissions, comments, mentor messages, community posts — you retain ownership but grant ai-de.net a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content as necessary to operate the Platform.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• Contains malware, harmful code, or attempts to disrupt the Platform
• Discloses personally identifiable information of any third party
• Constitutes spam, unauthorized advertising, or solicitation
• Misrepresents your identity or affiliation

We may remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice. Repeat violations may result in account suspension or termination.

05Intellectual property

The Platform — including its curriculum, project briefs, solution code, design system, brand assets, and underlying software — is owned by ai-de.net and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

"ai-de", "ai-de.net", and the ai-de logo are trademarks of DIMENSIONS PARTNERSHIP CONSULTING LLC. All other trademarks (dbt, Snowflake, AWS, etc.) are property of their respective owners and used here for nominative reference only.

06Subscriptions & billing

Plans

The Platform offers three tiers: Free (no payment required), Pro ($29/month), and Expert ($99/month). Detailed perks are listed at aide.net/pricing.

Auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions auto-renew monthly until you cancel. We charge the payment method on file on the day matching your subscription start date. You can cancel anytime from Settings — your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid month, no questions asked. After 14 days, charges are non-refundable except where required by law.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we'll retry up to 5 times over 7 days and email you. If still failed, we downgrade your account to Free; data is preserved.

07Mentor reviews & service levels

Paid plans include mentor code review and (for Expert) 1:1 mentor sessions. Service levels:

• Pro: 5 code review credits per month; mentor response within 48 hours of submission
• Expert: Unlimited code reviews; mentor response within 24 hours; 3 mentor slots per month

Mentors are independent contractors with industry experience but are not employees of ai-de.net. Their feedback is educational — not legal, financial, or career advice.

08Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Deletion is final after a 30-day grace period.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Engage in fraudulent payment activity
• Use the Platform in a way that materially harms other users or the service
• Are required to be terminated by a law enforcement or regulatory request

Sections related to intellectual property, disclaimer of warranty, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

09Disclaimer of warranty

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will lead to employment outcomes. Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

10Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AI-DE.NET OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS.

Our total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

11Disputes & arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Most disputes can be resolved by contacting aidelearning@proton.me. If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Rules.

Class-action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only, not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

EU/UK residents: this section does not affect your statutory rights, which apply regardless of these Terms.

12Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be:

• Announced in-app for 30 days before they take effect
• Emailed to all active users at least 30 days in advance
• Listed in a public changelog at aide.net/legal/changelog

Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you don't agree, you may close your account before the date.
