Why we built this.
Every other data-engineering course teaches the syntax of a tool. None of them teach the tradeoffs you have to defend in a review meeting. AI-DE is built the way working engineers actually learn: by reading the ADR, seeing the cost model, deploying the system, and breaking it until you understand why the decision went the way it did.
The platform exists because three years of running data platforms in production taught us that the gap between “I’ve done a Spark tutorial” and “I can defend a $300K Snowflake bill in front of finance” is enormous — and it’s the gap that decides who gets promoted to staff.
